People with Tourette Syndrome have long been misunderstood and mocked. Underneath the uncontrollable symptoms are children and adults – human beings – with hopes, dreams and feelings.
I pledge to stop using Tourette Syndrome as a punchline, a descriptive term, or a slur.
I pledge to speak out, educate and inspire others to be open-minded and break free of the stigmas that surround this disorder.
I pledge to create a world where people are seen for who they are and not their tics.
I pledge to be the change for the Tourette Community.
have pledged to be the change.
Every gift makes a difference. Your donation supports the Tourette Association’s work to make life better for all people affected by Tourette and Tic Disorders through efforts that raise awareness, advance research, and provide support.
Awareness Month is May 15 – June 15.
